The University Center Rochester Regional Sports Center recently hosted 2-thousand, 200 area middle and high school students at the STEM Summit 2012.

Activities included over 60 interactive science exhibits and demonstrations at the summit which highlights careers that involve science, technology engineering and math.
  
The St. Charles Press reports the summit brings together business, higher education, local government and communities to motivate and prepare students for the competitive global marketplace.

The Rochester Chamber of Commerce sponsors the annual event.
