A 28 year old man involved in a shooting incident near Galesville last July has been sentenced to a Wisconsin state prison.
The Trempealeau County Times reports that Julio Ramirez Espinosa, formerly of Tomah, was also given credit for the 159 days he served in jail while the case was pending. Rameriz Espinosa was the first person to be sentenced in connection with the incident that occurred north of Galesville last July 8th.
Authorities said three people fled the scene after one of them fired shots after breaking into a residence in the Town of Gale. Those three are also facing criminal charges along with a fifth person who was arrested about two weeks after the incident. There were no injuries in the incident.
