The St. Charles Press reports the funds came from local community ,members who raised the money during their "Train the Trainer" event.
The paper also reports the Center received over 1200 pounds of food as part of the 24th Annual Ten Days of Giving food drive sponsored by Merchants Bank. Most of the donations came from the St. Charles Middle and High Schools.
