The Trempealeau County Board of Supervisors has approved a 4.4% reduction in the 2013 tax levy on a budget that totals $53.7 million.
The Trempealeau County Times says $10 million dollars of that budget is pass-through funds that come from the state and federal government and goes to county agencies. The overall reduction in the property tax levy for 2013 is also $10 million.
