(KWNO)-Two fires in two hours kept the La Crosse Fire Department busy on Saturday night. The first call came in around 7:45 p.m. A building on Copeland Avenue was on fire and residents were struggling to get out. Crews put out a fire on the second floor of the building; one person suffered minor injuries. About two hours later firefighters responded to 4th Street South for a report of smoke coming from an apartment and put out a small fire in the attic. One person was displaced but there were no injuries. The cause of the fire appears to be an electrical issue.
