The Winona Area Public School Board will hold a work session next Monday night and may determine the finalists for the Superintendent of Schools position.
The board will meet with its consultant B-K-B Associates to go over the applications.
Current Superintendent Scott Hannon said over 20 applications have been received. And while he is not a part of the search at all, and has not seen the applications, he's hoping the new superintendent will fit well with the district.
Hannon will step down at the end of July after 41 years with the district.
Next Monday the school board may decide on which candidates to invite in for personal interviews.
