Winona State University Outdoor Education and Recreation Center will sponsor a National Outdoor Leadership School-Wilderness Medicine Institute first aid course next month.
                
This introductory course will be held Saturday, January 12th and Sunday, January 13th at WSU and will examine skills and tools needed when faced with a difficult medical decision in remote settings.

The course fee is $210. Register online, in the Outdoor Education and Recreation Office or by calling 457-2620.
  
No previous first aid training is required. This course is open to the public and participants must be 16 to attend this course.
