For the first time in program history the Winona State volleyball team is headed to the NCAA Division Two Tournament. The Warriors will be the five seed in the very deep Central Region, where they will meet Minnesota Duluth in the first round. The Central Region tournament is set for December 1-3 at the Gangelhoff Center in St. Paul, Minn.

The Warriors have won 26 matches this season, the third most in the school history. They are currently ranked 6th in the nation by the AVCA. The Central Region is caulked full of Northern Sun teams, a total of six made the eight team region. The NSIC took all five at-large bids in the region.
