The Wabasha County Board has appointed an interim Veterans Services Officer until the position can be filled with a permanent replacement.
                   
Current Assistant Veterans Service Officer Nathan Pelz was appointed to fill the position on interim basis while a search for a replacement is undertaken.  The Wabasha County Herald reports Pelz replaces Lisa Jaeger who resigned effective December 28th, to continue her education in the veterans services field.
