Whitehall School Referendum



Residents in the Whitehall School District said yes to a referendum to finance a new school addition.
                  
The district sought  permission to sell $12.5 million in bonds to finance construction of a new addition to the existing Whitehall Memorial High School.  According to the school district's websight the unofficlal vote was 574 yes votes to 341 no votes
                 
The 74,000 square foot addition will house the district's elementary classes. It would replace two other district elementary buildings in Pigeon Falls.
