Winona CARES is sponsoring a panel presentation and discussion to share ways to help teen children's complex emotional and behavioral development, including grief.
Panel members will include representatives from Winona Area Public Schools, Hiawatha Valley Mental Health Center, WSU Conselor Education, and others.
The event takes place on Wednesday, February 27th from 7:00 to 8:30 pm at the Winona Senior Friendship Center at 215 Main Street.
Winona CARES, which stands for Community Action, Response and Education about Suicide, is a volunteer group of parents, teachers and school personnel in the Winona community.
The groups purpose is to provide opportunities for parents of teens to find support, ask questions, and talk about parenting concerns and grief.
