Interests: Still like to camp during the summer and fall. we like to go to outdoor concerts and visit friends in the upper Midwest.

I'm a news junkie so I love being able to be doing Winona's news/talk morning show on KWNO.
I consider myself to be very lucky doing a job I love in my hometown. I've lived in some great towns in the midwest and Europe, but Winona is where I'm happiest.
I like big band and jazz, prairie school architechture and art deco anything.

Strange/Interesting Facts:I like dogs and I'm learning to like cats. I love Christmas so much that it makes winter worthwhile. I think the south picnic area at Whitewater State Park is the best place on the planet for a picnic.

I am a graduate of both Winona High School and Winona State University with a degree in instrumental music.
In 1979 I entered broadcasting first as a sports director and play-by-play announcer. In 1982 I started covering both sports and news for KAGE-AM and FM and became News Directory for Winona Radio in 1986.
Since 1979 I have worked solely for Winona Radio stations including KWNO-AM when it was a separate station.
A Winona native, I am married to my wife Sue who has worked for Winona County since 1974. We currently live in Rollingstone where we moved in 1998.
My major interests have always been sports and music. I served as publicist, announcer, and statistician for the Winona Cheifs amateur baseball team for 22 years...
