A La Crescent native has been named the Winona State University Athletic Director.
               
The announcement that Eric Schoh will assume the position was made at a press conference at Kryszko Commons.  The 43-year-old Schoh has spent the last eight years as Director of Athletics at Wayne State in Nebraska.
               
Prior to that, Schoh was associate athletic director for development at California State University in Bakersfield from 2002 to 2004. From 1999 to 2002 he served as associate athletic director at the University of South Dakota, and from 1995 to1997 was an assistant athletic director at Montana State University in Billings.
              
He will start his new duties on June 11th, replacing the retiring Larry Holstad.
