Goodview Police said a 5 year old girl was pulled from Lake Goodview Monday night after she went missing.
                 
Police Chief Kent Russell said emergency responders were summoned about 6:45 p.m. to La Canne Park on a report of a child missing.  Russell said the girl was pulled from the waters of Lake Goodview a short time later and was unresponsive.
                
Russell said life saving efforts were immediately started and the girl was taken to Winona Health where she was pronounced dead.  Russell said the girl's identity will be released after next of kin are notified.  Winona County Sheriff Dave Brand said the girl was from Arcadia.
                
Emergency responders from Goodview and Winona were at the scene along with the Winona County Dive Rescue Team, along with a Medlink helicopter that aided in the search.
