Here's a chance to learn more about the upcoming Great River Shakespeare Festival...see an historic Winona mansion...and raise money for the Winona County Historical Society at the same time.  The 9th Annual Chocolate, Champaign and Shakespeare gathering will take place on Saturday, June 9th, at the historic Huff-Lamberton home.
                
The event gives the public a chance to meet some of the Shakespeare actors and watch them perform some scenes from the two plays on the bill this summer.  Sandra Burke, with Winona Volunteer Services, says tours of the mansion will also be available.

Tickets for the event are on sale at the Winona County History Center. They are $20 for Society members and $25 for non-members.  The event runs from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m .
