Winona Diocese Study

Catholics in the Diocese of Winona are being asked to fill out a survey to determine the level of support for a fundraising campaign.

According to the Diocese newspaper "The Courier," the campaign will focus on three needs: strengthening the priest retirement fund...improvements to Immaculate Heart of Mary Seminary and renovations to the pastoral center, both located in Winona.  The cost is currently estimated at 18 to 20 million dollars.

Director of Mission Advancement, Joel Hennessy, said the feedback will help refine and focus the Diocese's goals.  The survey can be found online at www.dow.org.

Parishioners can also voice their opinions at one of five focus groups being held across the Diocese.  The deadline for completing the online survey is June 25th.
