SMU Centennial

St. Mary's University will launch its yearlong centennial celebration with a special event on Saturday, June 23rd, at 2:00 p.m.  A Centennial Cornerstone Celebration will be held at the steps of St. Mary's Hall on the Winona campus where the dreams of the university first began.

St. Mary's was founded in 1912 as a diocesan college for men, and has grown into a top-tier university with about 1400 students enrolled in undergraduate studies. Some 4600 students are enrolled in the school's post-secondary programs.

The centennial launch will conclude with St. Mary's annual Homecoming celebration which runs from Friday, June 22nd through Sunday, June 24th.  Following the Centennial Cornerstone Celebration on June 23rd, everyone is invited to a birthday cake celebration.
