Today on the local schedule, the Winona Buddies VFW baseball team looks to keep its perfect start going when they host Cannon Falls at 5:00. The Buddies are coming off of a second place finish at the state tournament last season and this year they are off to a 6-0 start. They have been dominating opponents so far this year having outscored them 60-6 in the first six games.

The Winona Chiefs amateur baseball team plays a non-league home game today when they play host to Elmwood. The Chiefs are 9-4 so far this year.

The Winona LeJetz American legion baseball team also plays at home today and they host the Rochester Patriots in a doubleheader.
