The Home and Community Options production of Sound of Music just had its final performance Tuesday and HCO is reporting the musical was a big hit.
HCO Executive Director Dennis Theede says the play included many clients they serve onstage and backstage and it gave them a great opportunity to integrate into the communtiy. Theede says the play was the best attended production they have put on and the $50,000 raised will go for needs such as medications, equipment and even air conditioners for low income clients.
It is the mission of Home and Community Options to provide support and residential services to people with developmental disabilities in order to enable individuals to live as full members of their communities.
