The annual Lewiston-Heartland Days celebration kicked off Thursday night with the crowning of a new Miss Lewiston.

Receiving the crown was 18 year-old Laine Halverson, daughter of Shelby and Lynn Halverson

Laine is sponsored by Hoff Funeral Home and she will reign over the rest of the activities at Heartland Days in Lewiston, which runs through Sunday.
  
Named as her attendants were: 17- year old Kayley Borkowksi, daughter of Andy and Jenny Borkowski...and 17-year-old Heather Kelley, the daughter of Jeremy and Brenda Kelley.

Megan Geden, daughter of Ross and Vicky Geden, was named Little Miss Lewiston.
