The Winona Chiefs amateur baseball team got an easy win yesterday beating the Wanamingo Jacks 17-4 in eight innings. The Chiefs pounded out 18 hits and were led by Lance Jenson who went 4-5 with a homerun and 7 RBIs. Brandon Beech and Scott Malotka both had three hits and drove in two. Chris Pettit went the full eight innings to get the win on the mound.

The Chiefs are 9-5 overall and 7-3 in the Twin Rivers League. Saturday the Chiefs lost to Zumbrota 8-6.
