The Winona Area Junior Golf Tournament was held yesterday at the Cedar Valley Golf Course and Charlie Kretschmer of Winona won the 16-18 year old division with a 111 over 27 holes. Sam Streukens of Winona won the 14-15 year old division, Zach Hughes was the 13 year old champion, Lake City’s Parker Schurhammer won the 10-12 year old division and Cole Sobotta of Arcadia was the 9 and under champ.

Kaitlyn Hennessy of Lewiston shot an 82 to win the girls’ 15-18 year old division. Hennessy finished  third at the Class A state golf tournament earlier this spring. Jullian Hultgren of Winona won the 12-14 year old division while Ava Wallrich of Lake City was the 10 and 11 year old champ. The final winner was Anna Hennessy of Lewiston who won the 9 under girls’ division.
