The Port Authority of Winona meets Thursday  and will hear from the Winona Chamber of Commerce President concerning efforts to promote downtown revitalization.
                     
Della Schmidt, along with Assistant City Planner Carlos Espinosa, will give details of meetings between the Winona Main Street Task Force and downtown stakeholders. The Task Force has recommended moving forward with efforts to establish the Winona Main Street Structure.

The Main Street approach is a program that has national and state recognition and involves a four point approach to downtown revitalization.  

The Port Authority meets at 4:00 p.m. in the Wenonah Room at City Hall and the public is welcome to attend.
