Thursday, Governor Mark Dayton will travel to Winona, to discuss economic development and workforce alignment with local business owners, civic leaders and students. Governor Dayton will begin the day with a visit to Knitcraft Mill, for a tour and meeting with leadership at Knitcraft.

Later, Governor Dayton, joined by Representative Gene Pelowski, Senator Jeremy Miller, business leaders, and students, will participate in a roundtable on higher education and workforce development at Winona State University. This event is open to the public.

Governor Dayton will then travel to Cannon Falls, Minnesota to meet with City Administrator Aaron Reeves and city officials to discuss the Cannon Falls flooding and tour the recent damages as a result of flooding.
