City Council
Three City of Winona labor unions will have their proposed two-year contracts voted on by the City Council tonight. In all three cases the contracts cover the years 2012 and 2013 and call for three percent total raises.
The unions are the Winona Professional Employees Association, the local Firefighters union, and the Fire Captain's Union. The raises include one and a half percent in 2012, retroactive to the beginning of this year...and another one and a-half percent in 2013.
The county will also entertain a request from the Southeastern Minnesota Multi-County HRA. The meeting is at 6:30 p.m. at City Hall.
