Councilmember Debbie White has withdrawn from the Winona mayoral race. 

In a prepared statement, White said "With regret I am announcing I will not be continuing my run for Mayor of Winona. This was a difficult decision but unexpected considerations have come about recently, and I need to put energies and focus towards that at this time."

White says "Though my name at this point will remain on the Primary ballot, I will not be actively running a campaign for Mayor. Many thanks of appreciation to those who urged, encouraged, and supported me to run for Mayor."
