Car vs Motorcycle

Trempealeau County authorities say two people were injured Sunday when the motorcycle they were on collided with a vehicle in the Town of Gale.

The Sheriff's Department said a car driven by 21-year-old Caleb Tamke of Whitehall was northbound on county trunk Double-A when it failed to stop for a stop sign at the intersection with Highway 54.

The car struck a motorcycle driven by 61-year-old Brian Tridle of Ettrick. Both Tridle and his passenger, identified as 62-year-old Vicky Truscott-Tridle, were taken by ambulance to a La Crosse hospital to be treated for their injuries.

Tamke and his two passengers were not injured.  The crash was reported at 10:31 a.m.
