Shots Fired--Arrests

The Trempealeau County Sheriff's Department says three people have been arrested and there is a search for a fourth suspect in a shooting that took place near Galesville early last Sunday.  Sheriff Richard Anderson said shots were fired about 4:00 a.m. inside a trailer home after several people entered the home located four miles north of Galesville in the Town of Gale.

Anderson said the assailants were looking for someone inside the home when they entered and three of the home's occupants fled when the others entered.  No one was injured in the incident.
But authorities are looking for 28-year-old Julio Jonathan Ramirez Espinosa of the Tomah area who is considered a person of interest.

Three others have been arrested and cited with felony counts of endangering safety by use of a dangerous weapon.  Those three are identified as:  22-year-old Armando Daniel Mercado Esparza of Genoa, Wisconsin,  along with 22-year-old Ruben Garcia Palma and 34-year-old Gina Maria Garcia, both of Arcadia.

Anderson said it's believed the incident was directed only at the occupants of the trailer home and that no others were being targeted.  No reason for the shooting has been released.
