A Lake City woman has accepted the position of Wabasha County Coordinator. Bridget Hoffman was offered the position last after the Wabasha County Board of Commissioners voted 3-to-2 to offer her the job.
Hoffman has been working as an administrative clerk in Lake City and was one of three finalists interviewed for the job.
Board members had also voted 3-to-2 earlier this year to eliminate the County Administrator's position in budget cutting move and replace it with a county coordinator. That left David Johnson , the former county administrator without a job.
Hoffman will be on probation for a year and have monthly performance reviews, according to the Wabasha County Herald.
