Boelter Industries Sold



A Wisconsin company has acquired Boelter Industries of Winona.  WS Packaging, Incorporated in Green Bay has purchased the Winona business.  Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
                  
Boelter Industries is a full-service folding carton company with 40 years experience. It was founded in 1969 by LB "Les" Boelter with several years of prior experience within the folding carton and packaging industry.
                 
WS Packaging Group, Inc, with more than 45 years of experience, is one of the largest printing and label converting operations in North America. It operates 19 manufacturing facilities and produces high-quality packaging products.

Boelter Industries President, Dennis Boelter, said his firm is pleased by the opportunity to join WS Packaging. There was no announcement of the possible impact on Boelter's Winona employees.                  
                 
Boelter said his company's on-going committment to quality and improvement will make for a smooth transition into WS Packaging "IMPACT" Business System, a new approach to business that demonstrates and applies innovative change through Lean practices that positively impacts the company, its employers, and its customers.
