Shakespeare Arts Board
Members of the Minnesota State Arts board will attend the Great River Shakespeare Festival's "The Two Gentlemen of Verona" on Tuesday.
The performance will start at 7 p.m. in the Performing Arts Center at Winona State University.
The Minnesota State Arts Board members and staff will attend the performance on Tuesday and host a party for the area grant recipients at Saint Mary's University's student center immediately following the show, with GRSF company members in attendance. The same night, 30 faculty and staff from Saint Mary's University will also attend the play and reception.
The MSAB has been a strong supporter of GRSF since 2008. In addition, they support other local institutions including the Minnesota Conservatory for the Arts and Winona-Dakota Unity Alliance.
The Minnesota State Arts board is a state agency that stimulates and encourages the creation, performance, and appreciation of the arts in the state.
