Winona State University athletes continued to excel in the classroom last year. The Winona State women’s basketball team ranked in the WBCA Academic Top 20 for the sixth consecutive year, finishing 15th nationally among all NCAA Division II schools. Winona State compiled a 3.513 cumulative team GPA during the 2011-12 academic year. On the court, Winona State posted an 18-11 overall record last season.
