Members of the Buffalo County Fire Association Departments of Alma, Arcadia, Dodge, Durand, Fountain City, Mondovi, Nelson,Tri-Community and Waumandee are advising the public of a county-wide burning ban effective immediately.
                      
Buffalo County is having this ban in conjunctlon with other agencies in the region.

No authorization to burn outdoors at this time is being issued due to the extremely dry conditions.

The fire ban will be In effect until an ample amount of rain has fallen to improve the dry conditions.
