The 7th annual Morrie Miller Athletic Foundation Fundraiser is coming up in September and another NFL great will be a featured speaker at the Foundation banquet. Last year Bart Star was the featured speaker at the event and this year former Minnesota Vikings coach Bud Grant will be coming to Winona. Grant spent 18 years as the Vikings’ coach and when he retired in 1985 he
was the winningest coach in team history.

The banquet will be held at the Visions Event Center on Saturday September 15th and it begins with cocktails at 6:00. The steak dinner will be served at 7:00 and Grant will speak at 8:00. The banquet is one of three events that will be held on September 15th and 16th with all the money raised going to the Morrie Miller Athletic Foundation, which benefits youth athletics in Winona. A 5K run/walk will be held on that Saturday morning and then a golf tournament will be played on Sunday.
