A fifth person has been charged in connection with a shooting incident near Galesville on July 8th.

The Trempealeau County Times reports that 20-year-old Erick Lopez Cardenas had bond set at 100-thousand dollars in Trempealeau County Circuit Court during a preliminary hearing on felony armed burglary charges.

Four others involved in the incident in the Town of Gale have also been charged after several shots were fired.

The paper says authorities found nine shell casings in the driveway following the incident.

Three of the suspects were apprehended the day of the shooting and a fourth was caught two days later.

Three of the other four are also being held on 100-thousand dollars bond......
