The ninth season of productions of the Great River Shakespeare Festival will wrap up early in August just as the fund raising campaign Setting the Stage nears it's goal.
GRSF's Director of Development, Brian Frederick, says they are only about 10-thousand dollars short of the 1-point 6 million dollar goal. He says the money will be used to build up operating reserves for future seasons.
Frederick says a matching gift of up to 300-thousand dollars from the Slaggie Family Foundation has been a big blessing.
Performances continue through August 5th in the Winona State University Performing Arts Center Theatre. Ticket information is available at www.grsf.org and the GRSF office at 79 East 3rd Street in Winona.
