A current member of the Winona City Council wants your vote for Mayor.
Fourth Ward councilman George Borzyskowski says one of the big issues facing the city is the future of the Highway 43 interstate bridge. He says keeping the current bridge open is a must, regardless what plan MnDOT comes up with.
Borzyskowski, who has served 14 years on the city council, says the historic nature of many of the city's buildings needs to be promoted and protected.
Borzyskowski will face off against Susan Hoghaug, Mark Peterson, John Skalitski, and Joyce Tlougan in an August 14th primary election to narrow the choices to two candidates for the general November election .
