Legislation, introduced by First District Congressman Tim Walz, to improve rehabilitation services for veterans suffering from traumatic brain injury, is headed to the President's desk to be signed into law.
                  
The legislation was included in a larger bill that passed the US Senate in July.  Walz said the bill ensures veterans with TBI get the comprehensive care they need at veterans hospitals, instead of just physical rehabilitation currently available.
                    
Walz said many of the country's wounded warriors have sustained traumatic brain injuries that require long-term rehabilitative care and this legislation will ensure the rehab is not prematurely cut off, and that these vets can get the kind of support they need.
