Three weeks into his new position as Winona State University President, Scott Olson says he feels at home. Olson assumed his duties as the univsersity's 15th president on July 16h, and says he has been welcomed by the community.
Olson also calls WSU the best undergraduate experience in Minnesota and the region, as well as a campus with a national distinction. Olson, who comes to WSU from Minnesota State-Mankato, also praises the university for its relationship with its students.
Olson is the first native Minnesota to become WSU president in over two decades and is getting to know the city of Winona and the area during his transition.
