Business at Winona's commercial harbor continues to lag behind last year according to the latest figures released by the City of Winona.      
                       
This year through June, a total of 413 barges were handled in the harbor by Artgo Fleeing which compares to 530 through the month of June in 2011.  In June of this year 130 barges were handled compared to 139 in june of 2011.
                      
The busiest month so far this year has been May when 164 barges were handled in the harbor.  Commodities are both loaded an unloaded at the harbor and those include, grain, fertilizer, and coal and well as frac sand.
