Reichel Foods in Rochester is recalling approximately 15,880 pounds of ready to eat meat and poultry products due to possible contamination with listeria monocytogenes.
The USDA says the products that are subject to recall include: 5.6 ounce packages of "Armour Active Packs Turkey and Cheese Wrap" and 5.6 ounce packages of "Armour Active Ham and Cheese Wrap." All of the products were produced between July 23rd and July 26th of 2012 and have a "sell by" date through September First, 2012.
The products were shipped to distribution centers in Indiana, Minnesota, Pennsylvania and Texas. The problem was discovered through microbiological testing by a third party.
USDA and Reichel Foods have not received reports of any illnesses due to the consumption of these products. Anyone concerned about an illness should contact a health care provider.
