Arcadia will play host to a big family event coming up this weekend Friday and Saturday, August 10th and 11th.  It's the fourth annual Ashley for the Arts Festival being sponsored by Ashley Furniture and it features a multitude of events including music concerts, art displays, a run-walk and a bike race.
                    
Spokesman Jason Lockington says its all for charity and to help promote the Arcadia area and it's all free, even the big name entertainment.  Lockington says some new events this year include some special races.

Lockington says the festival has grown from its beginnings expecting some 15-thousand people to attend this year. It also involves over 500 volunteers.  For more information go to www.ashleyinthepark.com
