Hunting Gear Theft



Winona Police are investigating a report of the theft of some expensive deer hunting equipment.
                    
Deputy Police Chief Tom Williams said a resident on Fairfax Street reported Sunday that a Jeep vehicle had been entered by cutting its rear plastic window.
                    
Missing items included three tree stands, a tote box with a scent blocking suit, a pair of scent blocking boots, a range finder, and 40 tree steps.  Their total value was $1760.
                    
The theft as reported at 7:43 a.m. Sunday.
