Bodway--City Issues

Four months after being named Winona's permanent city manager, Judy Bodway says she is enjoying her job.

Bodway assumed the position on a permanent basis in April and has faced some key issues involving the community such as the Highway 43 bridge project, frac sand issues, and a proposed Chamber Main Street Program designed to improve downtown Winona.

Bodway told a Winona Radio audience she feels the city is in a good place right now.

Bodway says serving the city for the past 28 years in different capacities has enabled her to step into the city manager's position with a familiarity with operations at city hall and the city departments...a real advantage.
