Cotter Classes
The start of classes at Cotter High School and Junior High School is being delayed by two days to allow for the completion of a remodeling project at the Roger Bacon building.
The School's Local Admissions Coordinator, Linda Schrupp, said the faculty and administration have decided that the postponement is necessary to assure the classrooms in the Roger Bacon building are ready for occupancy.
Classes will now begin on Thursday, August 23rd, instead of Tuesday, August 21st.
Many construction projects including new flooring, restrooms, ceilings, sprinkler systems, and windows have been underway all summer on the Cotter campus.
The Roger Bacon building houses Cotter Junior High School as well as Cotter High School math and science classes and labs.
Parents are asked to check Cotter's website at cotterschools.org for other back to school information in the near future.
