Highway Projects

You can expect some traffic delays on two state highways in the Winona area starting on Friday, August 24th.

The Minnesota Department of Transportation says surface preservation and preventative maintenance will be conducted on Highway 74 in Winona County and Highway 16 in Houston County.

Flaggers and a pilot car will be used to control traffic during the project which is expected to be completed by early September, weather permitting.  The project is costing just over one million dollars.

It  also includes Highway 218 in Dodge, Mower, and Steehl Counties as well as Highway 21 in Rice County.
