Winona Police said a 53 year old Winona man was jailed over the weekend after being accused of assaulting an 87 year old man.
                
Deputy Police Chief Tom Williams said Glen Paul Ferguson allegedly threatened to kill the man at a residence in the 450 block of Lafayette Street.  The case has been turned over to the county attorney's and police asking that Ferguson be charged with domestic assault causing fear and obstructing the legal process.
                
Police were called to the residence about 11:00 p.m. Saturday. Williams said Ferguson was cited after he fled the residence.
