Crop Day



Crop producers, agribusiness personnel and others interested in crop production in southern Minnesota are invited to a special University of Minnesota "Crop Production Field Day" next week
                  
The Field Day is being held Wednesday, August 29th at the Lawler Family Farm, 930 70th Avenue, NE, in Eyota - 5 miles east of Rochester. Registration begins at 9:00 a.m. with refreshments. The event will conclude at 11:00 a.m. with closing remarks and time available for speakers to answer questions.

There is no fee to attend this program and is open to the public.

Speakers will provide an overview of research that has been conducted at this site over the past 25 years. There will updates on corn and soybean performance trials and discussions about enhancing continuous corn production with N, P and S starter fertilizers, and the MN corn performance test.

The tour will be cancelled in the event of inclement weather.
