A reminder that August 31st, is the deadline to purchase tickets for the annual Winona Health Birthday Ball.  The event will be held on Saturday, September 8th, at Visions Event Center with proceeds going to the Winona Health Auxiliary.
                      
Spokesperson Cheryl Miller says the funds will be used for nursing scholarships and also the project to convert the hospital's patient care rooms to single occupancy for more patient privacy.  This will be the 50th anniversary Birthday Ball celebrating the move of the original Winona General Hospital to its present location.
