Trempealeau County authorities said a rural Whitehall man was injured when the pickup truck he was driving struck a house in Pigeon Falls Tuesday evening.
The Sheriff's Department said the truck was driven by Mitchell Hanevold and came to rest partially inside the house.
An occupant inside sustained a minor injury when the occupant was struck by a dresser drawer while lying in bed.
Hanevold sustained non life-threatening injuries to his nose and an eye. he was also cited with a felony count of fifth offense operating while intoxicated causing injury.
Hanevold was treated and released at Tri-County Memorial Hospital in Whitehall.
